Questions
Before you book
Do I need to buy the mount?
Either way works. Bring your own, or I'll bring a fixed, tilting or full-motion mount rated for your TV's size and weight.
Can you mount in a high-rise with metal studs?
Yes. Most downtown towers use metal studs, which need different anchors. That's the +$30 line on the price list.
Can you hide the wires?
Yes. Either inside the wall with a recessed power and cable kit, or behind a paintable cord cover when the wall can't be opened (common in rentals).
How high should my TV go?
Usually with the center of the screen near eye level when you're seated, roughly 42" off the floor. Over a fireplace sits higher, and a tilt mount helps. We'll mark it with painter's tape and you'll sign off before I drill.
Do you do other small jobs while you're there?
Yes: art, mirrors, curtains and shelves. Add them to your booking notes and I'll price them on the call.
